"I just can't wait until our shows!!!!" -Third Grader The big moment is finally here! After countless practice sessions and rehearsals, the third grade is finally ready to take the stage with their voices and recorders. If the practices at Keck are any indication, then we're all in for a treat this weekend. Thank you so much for your generous donations to the three 'angels' that our class adopted. The godd will in the Pirates' Cove was in full display, as we were able to fill bags for each child and place them under the Christmas tree in our classroom. Speaking of, a special shout out to our parent volunteers for donating a beautiful, lovely smelling evergreen to our classroom. We have been getting non-stop compliments from other students and faculty members on how gorgeous it is. Thank you! This week, the third grade continued to explore the celebration of various holidays around the world, including Chanukah, St. Lucia Day, and St. Nicholas Day. In reading, the students were given their books for the Roald Dahl unit, and man was it exciting. Three girls were actually screaming because they were so excited to be reading George's Marvelous Medicine! Thank you for continuing to support a love of learning at home with your children. It makes our jobs even more fulfilling. Kindly, John and Nina | Memory Jogger
