Newsletter Already reaching the 100th day of school? Are you serious? It seems like yesterday that your children were entering the classroom for the first time. How lucky were we to celebrate the 100th day of school on Valentine's Day? Featured in the festivities were heart shaped sandwiches, heart shaped cookies and rice krispy treats covered in chocolate! Woah! The children also enjoyed passing out their valentines to each other. The smiles that this valentines bring really brightens up the day. This week, the Pirates continued studying multiplication and division in word problems, while also beefing up fact fluency. We continue to read long, strong, deep and smart and hope to get lost in whatever book we are reading! The Pirates are still writing personal narrative stories and WOW, they are detailed! We can't wait to read the finished product! We also can't wait to see the history project that your child creates to represent what they have learned about their famous black leader.
